The McNab Shepherd Registry

To the McNab Shepherd Community:

We, McNab Shepherd Registry, Ron Prentice, Clark Carlton, David Procida, and Brittany Brauer (Vanir McNab Shepherds) issue this joint statement to correct prior unverified claims and promote mutual respect within our community.

In recent years, inaccurate or misleading statements were made on social media suggesting involvement in Improper breeding practices and reputations, including that breeders were involved in improper animal care, bred aggressive dogs, and engaged in irresponsible breeding practices. Upon further reflection and additional review, we now recognize that those statements were not fully investigated and were inaccurate.

We therefore express regret for any harm those statements have caused and affirm that we believe each of us is committed to the fair and ethical treatment of animals and strives to breed responsibly, to the best of their knowledge and ability.
